Brownwood Insulation was founded in 2018 by a team of insulation professionals who had spent years working in and around Central Texas. Brownwood has always been home base - from the older brick neighborhoods near downtown to the lake properties north of the city out by Lake Brownwood State Park, we have worked on homes all over Brown County.
Brownwood winters can surprise you. When a hard freeze rolls through - like the one in 2021 - older homes take the worst of it. And summers here are no joke, with temperatures regularly pushing past 100°F for weeks at a time. We started this company because homeowners in this area deserve an insulation contractor who understands those conditions firsthand, not someone driving in from a bigger city with no feel for what the local climate actually demands.
Most of the homes we work on were built in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. The insulation in those houses was never enough to begin with, and it has had decades to degrade. We take that seriously. We show up, look at what is actually there, tell you what we recommend and why, and then do the work right. That is how we have built our reputation in Brownwood, and it is how we intend to keep it.
